You have undoubtedly been here for a cultural event or festival, but can you imagine that this place is more than a hundred years old?
The Sheds were built between 1903 and 1904 according to the plans of architect Van Humbeek, and cover more than 17,410 m².
From the platforms alongside, where trains deposited their goods, you can admire the astonishing self-supporting metallic framework, displaying a technical prowess unique in the world.
Flagey is a ship-shaped art deco building designed by architect Joseph Diongre in 1938 for the Belgian Radio Broadcasting Institute. Its conception took into account the stringent technical and acoustic requirements of the period and gained international recognition and attracted prominent musicians for concerts, festivals and recording sessions. In 1974 the Belgian Radio Institute left the building. It was entirely renovated in 2002 and re-opened to the public.
In addition to the two beautiful concert halls and the cinema hall, this building of art deco style offers many reception areas of different sizes as well as state-of the-art technical equipment for all kinds of events.
A renewed, extraordinary location in the heart of the Bois de la Cambre, on the Robinson's Island. Ravaged by fire in 1991, the Chalet Robinson has been restored to its wooden charm of before. The Chalet Robinson comprises a couple of spacious areas spread over two floors, and a splendid terrace. The island is reachable via two electric ferryboats. Located in the heart of Brussels, in Passage 44, the Brussels44Center offers you a choice of 9 venues of different dimensions ensuring that your event – be it a conference, congress, show, gala, or whatever – will be held under optimal conditions. The Auditorium has 768 seated places and a lobby that can hold up to 400. The Jacques Brel venue has 156 seated places whereas Maeterlinck, right next door, can act as a reception area for a conference or seminar.
Ideally located in the historic and cultural heart of Brussels, SQUARE BRUSSELS MEETING CENTRE is known as The European Premium Venue.
